Despite earlier rounds of childbirth rumors surrounding the two, the star couple never explicitly addressed them. During a panel discussion with Rajeev Masand in 2013, the 38-year-old shared her aspirations, expressing a desire for a family with many children if she weren't an actor. She envisioned a bustling household with three little kids, balancing work and family life. This anticipation for starting a family was articulated years before her marriage, yet her enthusiasm for the idea has been consistently conveyed. At a L'Oréal event, the Fighter actress reiterated her wish for numerous children, emphasizing the significance of family and her love for kids.
Conversely, Ranveer shared his sentiments on parenthood as well. During an appearance on The Big Picture, he affectionately referred to Deepika as a cute baby and expressed his admiration. The Simmba star playfully remarked, "I see her baby photos every day and tell her, ‘Give me one baby like this one, my life will be set’." Additionally, the actor disclosed a preference for having a baby girl, similar to his wife's likeness.
